Didn’t know this was such a hot topic! After last night’s episode we have no choice but to fully stan Rock M Sakura and there’s nothing I can do about it.
Healing does not happen on a timeline!!!!!! Stop berating yourself for still cringing when “that” topic comes up! Stop telling yourself that you’re overreacting when you have a panic attack after being in “that” place again! Stop feeling like you’re too sensitive after still freaking out when you see “that” person! Stop feeling like you should be “over it” by now! Because the idea that time=stability is false. Yes, things often do get better with time, but if they haven’t completely or at all, that doesn’t mean anything is wrong with you or your healing process. It just means you’ve been through some shit. Any sort of trauma is not just psychological; it’s biological as well, and this means that your brain and body might still not be able to deal with certain situations despite the hard work you’ve put in and the time that’s passed. It sucks. And it hurts. But it is NOT your fault or a reflection of your recovery. You’re doing great. I’m proud of you and I love you.
